all dragons have the choice to choose which they'll be, good or evil, but usually, depending on their type, their choices are the same. there are two types of dragons: metallic and chromatic. as a common rule, metallic dragons are good, and chromatic dragons are evil. there are a few types of dragons that don't fall into one of these categories, but 95% do. here are the types that do:
metallic: brass, bronze copper, gold, and silver dragons.
chromatic: black, red, blue, green, and white dragons.
